Doughnut News: Doughnuts are replacing cakes at weddings!!

"Flower walls might have been the hottest thing to have at your wedding in 2014, but there's something just as beautiful — but way more delicious — blowing up right now. Meet the donut wall: They've been popping up in our Instagram feeds over the last few months and we couldn't be happier about it." -- Country Living

Silver and Blush Pops

Silver and Blush Pops

We created these sparkling silver and gentle blush doughnut hole skewers for a very special client's wedding last week in Manhattan. She had them passed around on silver platters and we can only imagine how magical everything must've looked!

Our Doughnuts Only package definitely leaves room for your own creativity.

This New York wedding is one you don’t want to miss! With boho, whimsical, and elegant elements, this vision is truly a work of art that was wonderfully styled and photographed by OLLI STUDIO. We created a doughnutscape for a styled shoot with Olli Studio for Style Me Pretty last month! This shoot was centered around the Pantone Colors of the Year: Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue, a match made in heaven for weddings!

We incorporated light, ethereal fabrics for the table, some rock candy for a quartz-like detail, and lots of soft, romantic florals and trims. We are also so in looooove with the pink iced and powdered doughnut combination. And as always, our magical doughnut towers are the perfect centerpieces, tying it all together!

DIY Doughnut Bar for Engagement Party

We put together a "Create Your Own Doughnut" Bar for a couple's engagement party last weekend. It was a huge hit! Kids and adults alike were all super excited with the different options for glazes and toppings.

The couple chose two base doughnuts (old fashioned cake and chocolate cake), three glazes (Nutella ganache, salted caramel, traditional vanilla), and five toppings (Oreo crumb, rainbow sprinkles, toasted almond, toasted coconut, and cinnamon sugar).

One guest said that he felt "empowered" by his ability to choose is own doughnut options.

Who else wants this at their next party? Your guests will love you, guaranteed!

The Big Fake Wedding New York City

We were featured as a vendor at the Big Fake Wedding expo in NYC on April 12, 2016. The theme of the faux wedding was Embroidery and Hand Stitching. We interpreted it as "Hipster Grandma." We used lots of bright colored yarn that went along with the theme's color palette and incorporated natural elements such as unfinished wood and flowers for a nice balance of textures.
